Fitment Guarantee Policy

At CyberMetals, we aim to ensure that every product fits your vehicle when correct information is provided. To support a smooth installation process, we offer a Fitment Guarantee under the specific conditions outlined below.

This policy defines when the guarantee applies, when it does not apply, and how customers should submit a claim. It also protects CyberMetals from misuse of the guarantee by clearly outlining customer responsibilities.

1. When the Fitment Guarantee Applies

The Fitment Guarantee applies only if all of the following conditions are met:

  • CyberMetals has confirmed the fitment in writing (email or message).
  • The customer has provided accurate and complete vehicle details, including model, year, trim, brake size, and any modifications.
  • The product is brand new, unused, and has not been mounted or installed.
  • The installation has been performed using standard, industry-accepted procedures.

If all criteria are met and the product still does not fit, CyberMetals will review the case and may provide:

  • A replacement with a suitable product, or
  • Another appropriate solution at our discretion.

This guarantee applies only when CyberMetals has confirmed fitment in writing and the product remains unused and unaltered.

2. When the Fitment Guarantee Does NOT Apply

To protect both parties and avoid misuse, the Fitment Guarantee does not apply in the following situations:

a. Custom Orders (Always Excluded)

The Fitment Guarantee does not apply to any custom-made or special-order products, including:

  • Custom-made forged wheels
  • Custom PCD, drilling, offset, CB changes
  • Special colour or machining requests
  • Products manufactured specifically for your order

Custom orders are covered only under the Custom Order Policy, not the Fitment Guarantee.

b. Products That Have Been Installed or Used

Once a product is installed, fitted, or used in any way, the Fitment Guarantee is invalid.

  • Wheels bolted onto a vehicle
  • Wheels with tyres mounted
  • Any signs of installation, marks, or changes affecting resale condition

Tyre mounting counts as usage, even if the wheels have never touched the road.

c. Customer Provided Incorrect or Incomplete Vehicle Information

The guarantee is void if the customer provided:

  • Wrong model / year / variant
  • Wrong brake size
  • Incomplete details
  • Misleading or inaccurate information

CyberMetals cannot be responsible for incompatible fitment caused by incorrect customer information.

d. Fitment Issues Caused by Vehicle Modifications

The guarantee does not apply if the vehicle has been modified, including:

  • Lowered or raised suspension
  • Aftermarket brake kits
  • Wheel spacers
  • Camber kits
  • Fender or guard modifications
  • Non-standard tyre sizes

e. Change of Mind or Personal Preference

The Fitment Guarantee does not apply to any issues arising from personal preference, including but not limited to:

  • Preference for a different style, colour, or design
  • Situations where the product “looks different from expected”
  • Decisions to change or cancel the purchase for non-fitment reasons

Such matters are considered preference-based and are not classified as fitment issues.

3. Customer Responsibilities

To remain eligible for the Fitment Guarantee, customers must:

  • Provide accurate and complete vehicle information
  • Confirm all details before placing the order
  • Inspect wheels before mounting tyres
  • Ensure tyres and wheels are fitted by experienced installers
  • Take photos of any suspected fitment issue before installation continues

Failure to follow these steps may void the guarantee.

4. How to Make a Fitment Guarantee Claim

If you believe the product does not fit, stop installation immediately and contact us at market@cybermetals.com.au with:

  • Order number
  • Vehicle year, model, variant
  • Photos showing the fitment concern
  • Details of the installation process

Our support team will assess your case and respond within 2 business days.

5. Important Notes

  • The Fitment Guarantee is not a change-of-mind policy.
  • The Fitment Guarantee does not override the Custom Order Policy.
  • This guarantee operates in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law for faulty or defective products.
  • CyberMetals reserves the right to approve or decline claims based on evidence provided.
