Custom Order Policy
Custom-Made & Special Orders Are Not Eligible for Return
At CyberMetals, custom-made and special-order products are manufactured specifically to your individual requirements. As these items cannot be resold or repurposed, all custom orders are final and strictly non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable once confirmed.
Custom orders are also excluded from discounts, promotions, clearance pricing, bundle offers, or any price adjustments unless explicitly agreed upon in writing prior to purchase.
1. What Qualifies as a Custom or Special Order?
The following are classified as custom or special orders and fall under our non-returnable policy:
- Custom-made forged wheels
- Special colour, finish, machining, engraving, or surface treatment requests
- Custom drilling, PCD changes, offset changes, hub bore adjustments, or lug seat modifications
- Products manufactured, scheduled for production, or allocated specifically for your order
- Any product customised, altered, or produced to suit a specific vehicle’s requirements
- Any item that cannot reasonably be resold in its modified or personalised form
If an item is made specifically for you, customised in any way, or cannot be resold, it is considered a custom order.
2. No Change of Mind Returns
Due to the personalised nature of custom orders, CyberMetals does not accept returns or exchanges for:
- Change of mind
- Ordering the incorrect item
- Incorrect vehicle information provided by the customer
- Vehicle modifications affecting fitment
- No longer needing the item
- Price changes, promotions, or discounts offered after purchase
Please ensure all specifications are fully verified before placing your order. Our team can help confirm fitment prior to purchase.
3. Custom Order Cancellation
Once a custom order enters production, it cannot be cancelled.
If production has not yet begun, cancellation may be possible but is subject to review and may incur a cancellation fee to cover materials, production scheduling, and any labour already allocated to the order.
4. Production Lead Time
Custom-made products generally require 4–7 weeks of production time, depending on the level of customisation and manufacturing requirements.
Shipping time will vary based on the method you select:
- Air freight: faster delivery, higher cost
- Sea freight: more economical, longer transit time
Our support team will provide an estimated delivery window based on your chosen shipping method.
5. Warranty Coverage Remains Valid
All custom orders remain covered under:
- Standard manufacturer warranty
- Structural warranty for forged wheels (where applicable)
- Fitment Guarantee — only when CyberMetals confirmed fitment in writing before purchase
Warranty claims follow our standard assessment and verification process.
6. Fitment Responsibility
CyberMetals’ Fitment Guarantee applies only when fitment has been formally confirmed in writing by our team prior to purchase.
It does not apply when the customer:
- Provided incorrect or incomplete vehicle details
- Installed the product on a modified or non-standard vehicle
- Used third-party parts that affect fitment
- Requested custom drilling/offset/PCD/CB that inherently alters clearance or compatibility
Any incompatibility arising from customer-provided specifications or modifications is solely the customer’s responsibility.
7. Damaged or Defective Items
Custom orders may still be accepted for warranty review if:
- The product arrives damaged
- A manufacturing defect is confirmed
- The item delivered does not match the specifications agreed upon
If a warranty claim is approved, CyberMetals will repair, replace, or refund the item in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
